R & D Division
Strong pool of technologies and germplasm are
the backbone of research. We have a large number
of germplasm collections in various vegetable crops,
fruits and flowers. Added to it we have more advanced
tissue culture labs and very good experienced brains in
research. Our research team consists of 20 scientific staff.
There are two R & D locations, one at gurgaon,
Haryana and second at Lucknow, spread over in 100
acres with adequate research facilities. The strong R & D
team is headed by Dr.V.M.Pawar (Former Vice-Chancellor)
and led by an authority having experience of more than 20
years in R & D of National and International level with
strong background of agriculture related Biotechnology.
PRODUCTION
Seed production programme is on 10000 ha. in all over
India. Skilled agriculture post-graduate and graduates
supervise it. A large number of plants produced through tissue culture like Banana, Gerbera, Orchid etc.
Sheel is also involved in adding new and difficult varieties of bamboos in our production basket through R&D activities round the year.
